Yes indeed, things are about to be in full bloom again.  Winter came and went, the clocks have been pushed forward.  The world is re-animating itself, with a pallet of many colors.  With all those delightful flowers and plants coming to life again.  However, there is one potential downer to this time of year for many of us, seasonal allergies.  Don't let them stop you from enjoying the great outdoors this season.  Here are some wonderful herbs and fungi to keep you feeling good.

Stinging Nettle
In the wild!

There are 3 common ways to use stinging nettle for allergy relief.

1. TEA -
drink stinging nettle tea daily 2 months before allergy season to boost you immunity.

2. TINCTURE
two full droppers, three times a day during allergy season.

3. FRESH
eat the leaves fresh.   Be amazed.

REISHI

We are BIG fans of mushrooms here at MNR.  #healyourself with Reishi, your mushroom for allergies. Japanese researchers have found Reishi to be an antihistamine, therefore making it good for allergies.  Good ole' reishi also stimulates adrenal function and the immune system, which in turn increases the body's chances of fighting off an allergen.  No more itchy eyes!

GINGKO BILOBA

Most people know of Gingko Biloba to be effective in brain stimulation and mental clarity.  I also recently discovered it effectiveness in increasing blood circulation, which would indeed seem to correlate with mental alertness.  One other great benefit of Gingko Biloba is for treating allergies.  Take gingko if you suffer from hayfever.
